What
can I expect?
If you are new to us, you may want some questions
answered before you visit. Here's a look at what you can expect
as you walk through our doors this weekend.
Where do I go?
As
you enter the parking lot of Dallas Children’s
Theatre (5938 Skillman, Dallas) there will be someone directing
you to a good parking spot. You will enter the building through
the North entrance, which is where you enter DCT’s parking
lot (facing Home Depot). When you enter the building greeters will
be available to assist you with your children, help you get refreshments,
and direct you to the auditorium.
What should I wear?
We’re casual - so you can be too. The
staff will mainly be in jeans or slacks. If you are more inclined to wear
Sunday’s
best, that is fine with us. We have people who are very casual all the way to 'business casual'.
The children’s workers and parking
team will be wearing jeans and a Gracehill t-shirt so that you
can
easily identify them.
What should I expect?
Service will begin at 10 AM. The band will play
a couple of songs and then a smiling face will welcome you to Gracehill Community.
After one more song, and a greeting, Michael will come up
to communicate an uplifting, encouraging and practical message.
After the message you’ll hear a few announcements and then
we will have a closing song. You can expect to be dismissed by
11:10
AM.
Please feel free to stay and fellowship while
enjoying coffee and refreshments. During this time the staff
will be available for prayer
and individual encouragement if you desire.
What about my kids?
While you are in the main service, your kids
will be encouraged and strengthened by quality, age-specific ministry.
There is quality nursery care (birth - 4 years) and GraceKidz that is broken
down in age specific categories from 5 years to 5th grade.
What about communion?
Communion is for all believers, and it is a time that we remember Christ and His work on the cross. We will receive Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month beginning at 10:00AM. During this time, our band will play while believers take communion in a humble celebration of how Christ has changed our lives!
We will then take a short break and then continue at our starting time, 10 AM.
